San Antonio – Heritage Alliance released their candidate scorecards this week, giving Texas Senate candidate Dr. Donna Campbell the highest rating a candidate can receive. In the race for Senate District 25, Donna Campbell earned an ‘A+’, while her opponent John Courage scored an ‘F’.
Heritage Alliance is a nationally recognized conservative organization which bases their scores on a candidate or legislator’s commitment to restore principles of free enterprise, limited government, limited taxation, and traditional Judeo-Christian values.
Adding weight to the argument, Dr. Campbell has signed three pledges to balance the budget without raising taxes on everyday Texans. Her opponent has refused to sign any such pledges while endorsing new taxes on San Antonians.
Early voting for the Senate District 25 race began Monday, October 22 and continues through Nov. 2, with Election Day scheduled for November 6th. Senate District 25 includes parts of Bexar, Guadalupe, Hays, and Travis Counties, and all of Kendall and Comal County.
