How, Where, and When to Vote in Texas

As a result of on-going redistricting litigation the mailing of new voter registration certificates is delayed in some counties. All previously issued voter registration certificates expired on December 31, 2011, but only the card expired. The cards will automatically be renewed. Only registered voters who have changed addresses or names need to contact their local voter registrar to update their registration or file a new application.
